Now when I think of Mickey Rourkey’s face, my mind comes up with this image of a sad marshmallow for some reason. Now, I don’t have to rack my subconscious brain to figure out what that means. Look at the guy.
The world, or maybe a lot of ladies in general groaned inwardly when they saw the ex Hollywood star Mickey Rourke looking like a well dressed hobo who is going through withdrawal. Rourke’s face has been transformed into something that would give him the chills every time he looks at his washroom mirror. You know, he is aged 61. The greasy hair look he adopted on Venice Film Festival in 2008 coupled hopefully with dark sunglasses didn’t do much covering up.

Mickey Rourke plastic surgery
What are the surgeries? And Why?
Rourke, who took up boxing came down with a broken nose and a couple of mashed up bones here and there around his face. The plastic surgeon who fixed his face gave Rourke new meaning to the old saying adding insult to injury in every sense. And his docs said, “no more boxing” and his only salvation was going back to movies. And he had a face the media calling his face “monstrous” and like molten clay wasn’t helping either.
So, in order to rebuild his nose after damage he got from boxing, he had the surgeon take cartilage from his ears (the previous fixing didn’t turn out as expected). Not that it helped him much. The cheekbones too, went from getting him usual -”aww…” to “ohH…damn!” from his fans.
Because of this poor Rourke had to go for other corrective surgeries that would maybe, somehow help him get a face that looked closer to what it used to be prior surgery. Right now, it appears that he’s just resorting to face uplifting for the ageing of his skin, thankfully from a better place this time!
